K-Star-D™

All K-Star-D™ configurations inherently treat the 3rd harmonic in the secondary winding. The standard Model K-Star-D™ has dual 3-phase, 4-wire outputs, such that when a pair of similar loads are connected, additional harmonic currents such as the 5th & 7th are treated on a point of use basis. It is ideal for high tech manufacturing, call-in centers, internet facilities, telecommunications and other critical operating environments where uptime is mandatory. Each output rated for 60% of transformer nameplate kVA.

The "CONF3" and "CONF4" options provide three and four 3-phase, 4-wire outputs respectively to treat higher order harmonic currents present in loads shared among the outputs.

The "PS" option allows the user to select the primary to secondary phase shift to treat other harmonics (eg. 11th &13th) on a system basis.

The factory-installed options such as noise filtering and Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) option provides additional protection for sensitive equipment while eliminating associated field installation costs if providing this separately. The TSB option provides a see-through physical barrier over the terminals for added safety during live inspection.
